## Summary

PERFECT NYC WINTER HOLIDAY ESCAPE

Normally not available but the holiday opened up!

Welcome to my spacious art-studio apartment with eclectic furniture from antiques to mid-century style.

The space is arranged where you can sleep and relax, as well as work in the office alcove.

My paintings and sculptures will keep you company!

Hell's Kitchen and my apartment are perfect places to rest your soul as you discover and enjoy all of NYC from Midtown Manhattan.

## The space

The building is very quiet. The neighbors are nice and polite.

The street is completely residential, so no businesses, restaurants or bars are on the block.

As with any tree lined street facing apartment, there is one-way circulation of cars and thankfully, the city has become much quieter.

Great location steps away from the best of Central Park.

We've heard the laments of so many guests of this site and do not require your time or effort in cleaning prior to leaving. The cleaning fee is nominal for a long stay, so just leave my lovely space as you would like your own place to be.

## The neighborhood

Convenient location · affordable · center of NYC · great takeout · great food

Hell's Kitchen has nearly all that one could want in a neighborhood. Good restaurants, fun bars and most importantly, it is perfectly located for visiting the rest of the city and region.

Finer print about HK:
Few places in the world can rival Hell's Kitchen for its concentration of iconic landmarks. The Empire State Building towers over 34th Street at Fifth Avenue. From there, you can walk one block west to Macy's flagship, or a few blocks north to see Patience and Fortitude, the photogenic marble lion statues standing guard outside the New York Public Library. You can pass through Times Square en route to Rockefeller Center and the Museum of Modern Art.

The area is also home to legendary performance halls, including dozens of Broadway theaters, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall, as well as newer concert venues like Terminal 5. The seemingly endless files of skyscrapers also house journalism, finance and advertising giants: The New York Times, for instance, has been headquartered in Midtown West since 1904.Midtown West is an undisputed cultural and commercial hub of New York City, located near the geographical center of Manhattan. Fifth Avenue — the city's most notable shopping strip, where you'll find stores like Bergdorf Goodman and Tiffany & Co. — separates Midtown West from Midtown East.

Central Park and West 59th Street form its northern border. The southern and western boundaries are less distinct. In the low West 30s, buildings start rising higher and pedestrian traffic gets heavier (hallmarks of Midtown), though this section is sometimes referred to as the Garment District.

Midtown West extends west to the Hudson River, which incorporates blocks of the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood as well as the Theater District (the core of which is Times Square).

Visitors often spend a good chunk of their Big Apple vacations here because there's so much to see and do. Times Square alone draws more than 39 million visitors each year.
