## Summary

Welcome to The Green Monstah! This is our family's beloved second home, where we spend several months a year making memories. 

Because we live here too, I utilized my interior design background to ensure it feels upscale and unique, yet completely comfortable for you and your family (dogs too)! As independent owners, we host you directly. You get a personal  experience with no corporate layers. We love our home and Edisto very much and we can't wait to share it with you.

## The space

Built in 2025, our four bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Edisto home is just a 5-min walk to the beach. We have a saltwater pool (heating available), an elevator, and we’re dog friendly! Our home sleeps 8 with 2 king en suite bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, and one bedroom with 2 twin beds. Three bedrooms are on the second floor, one is on the main level. The screened in porch has a seating area, dining for 10, and a TV. Under the house, you’ll find a private outdoor shower, the pool, a grill, seating, and another TV.

## Guest access

Guests have full, exclusive access to the entire home, including the saltwater pool, elevator, and screened-in porch.The only exceptions are two locked owner's closets inside the house and a designated ground-level storage area underneath the home, which remain locked for our family's personal use.

## Host interaction

We want you to feel completely at home and enjoy your privacy, so we do not live nearby and we will leave you to enjoy your vacation in peace! However, I am always just a quick message away. I am highly responsive through the Airbnb app to answer any questions, give local recommendations, or help resolve any issues that may arise during your stay.

## Good to know

Every person staying at house counts towards the guest total, including all children and infants, regardless of their age. The maximum number of people that can stay in the house is 8. Please make sure your total guest count is accurate when booking. This is due to local permitting and insurance regulations. Absolutely no exceptions are granted.  

Generally speaking, we are on a Saturday to Saturday rental schedule during peak season (May through October). There may be some exceptions made in limited circumstances. 

There is a per day cost to heat the pool. The cost is dependent on the season and what temperature you would like the heat set. Please message me for the cost for your trip. 

Golf cart rentals and LSVs are permitted. We recommend Saltwater Services of Edisto. 

We provide all linens and towels at no extra charge. 

We provide 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a beach wagon to transport everything. We also have beach towels you are welcome to take to the beach or use at the pool.

Security Deposit Policy:

- Stays up to 89 nights: $1,000 credit hold

- Stays between 90 and 179 nights: $5,000 credit hold

- Stays of 180 nights or longer: Cash security deposit equal to one month's rent

All security deposits are processed as a credit card hold 2 days prior to arrival and released 2 days after departure, or as a bank transfer for stays of 180 nights or longer.
