Adelphi I | Ft Greene | Apartment w/ Backyard, Patio and Porch

We stayed at Unit 1, 333 Adelphi for 12 weeks. It’s a wonderful apartment in a beautiful and historic building. Lots of space, tonnes of character with its high ceilings and fireplaces, and super peaceful in a leafy, safe part of Fort Greene with wonderful neighbours and only 5 mins walk to great restaurants and the subway. Really nice back yard (perfect for our dog) and a patio out back of the basement level. Bed was incredibly comfortable and we’ve had the best sleeps we’ve ever had in New York. We couldn’t fault the service that Rove provided. Well stocked with everything needed for an extended stay, cleaning service was excellent, and they even put the trash out on the street for you every week. We couldn’t find fault with anything!

Firstly Rove have been very good to deal with so majority of this review is the previous management which has subsequently gone. The place is extremely well located in the perfect neighbourhood. The master bedroom is fantastic and ample size. The other two rooms are far smaller and really make it hard if you have lots of luggage. Both are double beds which is tight for couples. Living areas are nice but the back court yard is always messy and we had no adequate brooms etc etc to tidy it up. Heating/cooling is very good so don’t anticipate any worries there. Previous management were tricky to deal with, a lot of mis communication, over charging for cleaning which wasn’t disclosed at the time of booking (not sure if this is still the case), and inconsistent support. Given changes of management we feel confident Rove will do a good job and are looking forward to return later this year for another stay.
