After Jeannette passed away in 1923, her daughter Susan Bliss would later donate her mother's boudoir to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where it exhibited in the Wrightsman Collection, and her library room to Bowdoin College in Maine. After Susan passed away in 1967, the home served as the Clinical Psychologist Center for Marital and Family Therapy, the Bliss mansion was converted to rental apartments, whose former residents included actors including Candice Bergen and Al Pacino.

Upon entry, the foyer greets you with vintage terracotta tiles and is adorned with a Louis gilt mirror, a Sarah Sherman Samuel bench, an Atelier Plateau plaster wall relief, and a compact wall-hung console for essentials.

Adjacent to the foyer is the powder room, finished with handmade Moroccan zellige tiles in cocoa brown, a whimsical brass pendant by Lostine, a Turkish handmade Calcatta viola sink, a Moroccan wall faucet, and a vintage swan soap holder.

The bedroom, accessible from the foyer, boasts a delicate pale lavender palette, accented with pale gray wool curtains. It features a light oak bed with a cream boucle headboard by Athena Calderone, gray kendzo marble nightstands, a Pierre Jeanneret light oak bench, and a tall burlwood dresser. Decor includes a full-length mirror and a unique cement wall sculpture from Montanna Labelle's collection.

The dining area, painted in earthy red clay, includes an oak table and vintage 1950s mohair velvet chairs from Belgium, a dry bar for additional storage, illuminated by a minimalist Hashira lamp and Charlotte Perriand pivoting sconces.

The galley kitchen offers panel-ready appliances and a stone shelf with antiquities and objets, alongside a concealed all-in-one washer dryer within the cabinetry.

The spacious living room, a blend of comfort and historic charm, features a marble fireplace with a Rachel Donath wavy fire screen, a Danish brass mirror, and vintage art deco wall lamps from a Dutch cinema. Seating includes a three-seater sectional sofa, a two-and-a-half-seater sofa, and a leather armchair from Audo Copenhagen, complemented by vintage bookcases, a marble plinth with a vase, a wide burl wood desk, and a sage velvet armchair reminiscent of Pierre Jeanneret's style. Artworks by Portland's Benjamin Ewing and a 65” smart TV enrich the space.
