December 18, 2024We were in Harlem for six weeks and we were very happy with our accommodation. We are a couple and had guests over twice. We were not unfamiliar with the area. It is a wonderful area in Manhattan, from a cappuccino in the morning to a late night drink at Marco's Harlem Enotheca, we felt at home. We experienced Harlem as a vibrant neighborhood where you are greeted on the streets regardless of the color of your skin. I can't imagine a better place to live while working on a project at Columbia University.
Communication with Rowe was pleasant, and a problem with access on the first day was quickly resolved. The space in the kitchen with the small bistro table took some getting used to; there is no dining table for four people. Rowe helped with that too.
