Cancellation Policy

Rove’s cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 48-Hour Grace Period: Reservations made at least 14 days before the check-in date are fully refundable if canceled within 48 hours of booking.
  • 60+ Days Before Check-In: Reservations canceled more than 60 days before check-in are eligible for a refund
  • 30-60 Days Before Check-In: Reservations canceled 30 to 60 days before check-in are eligible for a credit toward a future Rove booking within the next 12 months.
  • Less Than 30 Days Before Check-In: Reservations cannot be canceled within 30 days of the check-in date, and no refund or credit is available.
  • Note: All applicable payment processing fees are non-refundable for cancellations.

Security Deposit Policy

1 To 3 Month Stay Length
A refundable credit card hold is required to cover any property damage during your stay. This hold will be placed 48 hours before your arrival.

Stays of 89 Nights or Less. $2,500 credit card hold upon check-in.

Hold and Release Information.
  • The hold will be released within 2 days after check-out if no damages or unpaid charges are found.
  • Replacement holds will be made every 7 days until released 48 hours after departure. It may take 3-5 business days to reflect in your account after release.
  • Cash security deposits will be reimbursed within 7 days if no damages or unpaid charges are observed during the first inspection, typically within 72 hours of check-out.
3 To 6 Month Stay Length
A refundable credit card hold is required to cover any property damage during your stay. This hold will be placed 48 hours before your arrival.

Stays of 90 to 179 Nights: $5,000 credit card hold upon check-in.

Hold and Release Information:
  • The hold will be released within 2 days after check-out if no damages or unpaid charges are found.
  • Replacement holds will be made every 7 days until released 48 hours after departure. It may take 3-5 business days to reflect in your account after release.
  • Cash security deposits will be reimbursed within 7 days if no damages or unpaid charges are observed during the first inspection, typically within 72 hours of check-out.
6+ Month Stay Length
A cash security deposit equivalent to 1 month’s rent is required to cover any property damage during your stay.

Stays of 6 Months (180 Nights) or Longer. One month’s rent as a cash security deposit, payable via bank transfer.

Hold and Release Information.

We were in Harlem for six weeks and we were very happy with our accommodation. We are a couple and had guests over twice. We were not unfamiliar with the area. It is a wonderful area in Manhattan, from a cappuccino in the morning to a late night drink at Marco's Harlem Enotheca, we felt at home. We experienced Harlem as a vibrant neighborhood where you are greeted on the streets regardless of the color of your skin. I can't imagine a better place to live while working on a project at Columbia University. Communication with Rowe was pleasant, and a problem with access on the first day was quickly resolved. The space in the kitchen with the small bistro table took some getting used to; there is no dining table for four people. Rowe helped with that too.
