Nice place and nice host. Would definitely use again

My daughter had a wonderful time with her roommate at Adir's apartment. It was very safe, clean, bright and excellent location. It was the perfect place for a couple of college girls looking for a nice and quiet place to do work, shop, go to trendy restaurants and cafes. Across the street from Central Park and walking distance to Subway station. Security and gym were an unexpected but very valuable bonus. Adir was always very quick in responding and accommodating to our requests. Thank you very much! We loved the place and hope to stay again next time we're in NYC!

This property is exactly as advertised, and more. The apartments are on top of the JW Marriott hotel and we shared the same entrance, although not the same elevators. It was nice having the hotel amenities available to us. The New York Times and WSJ every morning and packages delivered to our door. We were surprised at how large the apartment was and there are closets (and hangers) galore. My husband and I are working from home in Florida and we wanted a change in scenery. The bedroom has a desk where my husband set up his office, and I set up in the small sunroom that had a pocket door that, when closed, rendered the room virtually soundproof. And, there is so much light. The entire south wall of the apartment is windows. At the end of the work day, my husband would take a bike ride through Central Park and I either went for a jog or did a Peloton class in the gym on the third floor. And, then, we'd stroll to a neighborhood restaurant for dinner. We only took a cab one night to a restaurant because there are so many options within walking distance. Perhaps only because the hotel restaurant is closed because of Covid, but we also had access to the JW Marriott Executive Lounge for breakfast in the mornings. Great assortment of bagels and fruit, yogurt, cereal and oatmeal in containers, and bottomless cappuccinos. There is also a coffee maker and toaster in the apartment. The only downside to the kitchen is that there isn't a full-size oven and the electric cooktop only has two fairly small burners. The microwave is also a convection oven and I was able to roast beets and asparagus but I don't think I'd try to bake in it. We did cook several meals in the apartment and it is certainly functional. Adir is great. We had some issues when we first arrived on a weekend with the internet but he was very responsive and we had it working before the work week began. We had a great time and would absolutely stay again.

I cannot say enough great things about the apartment, Essex House, and Adir. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, and in the perfect location close to all major subway lines. The staff at the JW Marriot was exemplary! We had access to all the hotel amenities, including the gym with Peloton bikes! It was also very nice to have the extra level of security the hotel offered at the door. Adir is the best host! He is always accessible and answers questions very quickly! I can not wait for next summer to stay in one of Adir's apartments again! Thank you so much!
