I stayed for a month in Shais place and it felt as if I was at home from day 1, all the small details were taken care of. Shai was super helpful and responsive to any enquiries or requests we had. The flat is conveniently located to amenities and easy to walk across Manhatten given its central location. I loved how bright and big the windows were across the different rooms and it was quite spacious and modernly furnished. One of the best airbnb experiences I had so far and definitely highly recommended.

Our stay at Shai's apartment was great. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, and you can sense the care and attention to detail that went into its remodeling. The bathrooms and kitchen are all stand-out -- sparkly clean and with a minimalist aesthetic, yet the kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need. Bedrooms are also nicely decorated and comfortable. The many windows bring a lot of light into the apartment, which is also nice. The location in Hell's Kitchen is great for proximity to lots of restaurants and bars, there are multiple grocery options nearby, and we were able to walk to work (in Midtown). It's a bit of a walk to the closest subway stations, but that wasn't a major issue for us. Shai was also very responsive and friendly on the couple of times we had questions or needed help. I would definitely recommend his apartment, and I would welcome the opportunity to stay there again!

We stayed for 4 months at Shai's place in Hell's Kitchen. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants (highly recommend the burger at Scruffy Duffy's, down the block from the rental) and groceries (lots of bodegas on every block). It is also within walking distance to the theater district and Times Square. The subway lines are just a couple of blocks away too -- the underground entrance on 44th Street gets you to lines that go all over the city. The apartment was clean, very bright (lots of windows), and large (2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, kitchen and dining). It also felt very safe (there is a keyless code box to get in the front door), then an elevator to the 3rd floor for the apartment. Probably one of the best features of the apartment was the communication with the owner, Shai. He was super-responsive with any questions we had (he always replied within minutes), and we got the sense that he truly wanted us to feel welcome and happy in his rental.
