“Very poor check in experience. WiFi instructions never provided during the 30 day stay. Smoke detectors beeping the entire time. Slow response times overall from the host, which I believe to be a large company who likely outsources customer service. Location was great! I would not recommend Rove based on this experience until they improve some basics.”

“The place was as described. The host was responsive. Only hold back was that you can tell the place was just cleaned but it had a “dirty rag” smell. The pool was also full of bugs which did not make us want to use the pool. Otherwise the place was great.”

“Shatemuc was the perfect stay for my family's get together! Such a unique home - the perfect blend of modern comforts (heated bathroom floors) and vintage character. You can tell everything's been thoughtfully sourced and curated and the house is full of personality. My dad, an architect, spent the entire time marveling at the design and details. Incredible view of the Hudson River and Rondout Lighthouse. I could (and did) sit and watch the ships and trains passing along the river all day long. On top of all that Nick’s truly a great guy! Hope to stay at Shatemuc again. Thanks Nick!”

“We have stayed in Airbnb‘s for 30 years. This department stands out. It is far more spacious than most New York apartments, and far better furnished than most. Airbnb rentals the selfies in the living room make for easy lounging in front of a wall size screen for watching videos the large upstairs deck, also wonderfully furnished, has a great view of the nearby park. Rachel is a superb host: quick responses to any questions we had, lots of suggestions about the Neighbourhood, etc. We would love to return the next time we are in Manhattan.”

“The stay at Rialto V was a home run. We had not heard of Rove, but became comfortable after doing some research, reading online reviews and interacting with customer service on email. We booked and then stayed for a month. The place was 'as advertised' and beautiful. Any small issues we had were handled within a couple of hours. This place made our stay in NYC so relaxing. I wish Rove was in more than 4 cities. The apartment and location were top notch.”
