Rove has the following cancellation policy:

All reservations made 14 days before the check-in date are fully refundable for 48 hours
Reservations can be cancelled for a full refund if cancelled greater than 60 days before the check-in date
Reservations between 60 and 30 days from the check-in date can be cancelled for a credit towards a future Rove booking within the next 12 months.
Reservations cannot be cancelled less than 30 days from check-in.

The house was great. It wasn’t until we had sightings of multiple rats. One inside the house and one outside in the grill. The grill also had rat droppings. While I was out, I also received a text about a noise complaint from their automated noise monitoring system when I wasn’t even home at the time the message came through. I was offered a late check out but had flights to catch. Instead they offered $100 off a booking that was nearly $1,000. The communication was prompt but also inconsiderate to what we experienced. My kids were playing in the backyard during these sightings. It felt unsanitary and unsafe. Of course the situation can’t be changed due to the nature of a wild animal but additional compensation wasn’t an option and didn’t feel like they handled the situation as well as they could have.

The location was great for our family trip through the Phoenix area. Loved that it was right next to the canal path for easy biking and running. The pool can be heated but is an additional $50/ day and there is a little putting green but we found all 5 of the putters broken. Beds comfy, good pots & pans, swings were fun. Going through the company requires online contracts to sign and security deposit holds, etc. We had a realty appraiser show up one day, thinking the home was vacant, which was unexpected. We also notified the company the night before that we would be checking out at the check out time the next morning, 11am, but had cleaning crew show up before 10am. House itself is nice and could just benefit from a little TLC. Was just fine for 2 nights!

Found the house to be as advertised. Plenty of hotel quality linens and well stocked kitchen. The home is at the end of the street and quiet. On a map, the home might look like it’s right next to Pima Rd. which is a pretty busy road, but there is a tall wall that blocks Pima Rd. so you never hear traffic noise. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. My toddler LOVES golf so he spent most of his time in the backyard on the putting green with the thoughtfully provided putters and balls. Very conveniently located near tons of attractions like Talking Stick, Top Gold, shopping and PopStroke mini golf. Wish we had time to stay longer.
