Cancellation Policy

Rove’s cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 48-Hour Grace Period: Reservations made at least 14 days before the check-in date are fully refundable if canceled within 48 hours of booking.
  • 60+ Days Before Check-In: Reservations canceled more than 60 days before check-in are eligible for a refund
  • 30-60 Days Before Check-In: Reservations canceled 30 to 60 days before check-in are eligible for a credit toward a future Rove booking within the next 12 months.
  • Less Than 30 Days Before Check-In: Reservations cannot be canceled within 30 days of the check-in date, and no refund or credit is available.
  • Note: All applicable payment processing fees are non-refundable for cancellations.

Security Deposit Policy

1 To 3 Month Stay Length
A refundable credit card hold is required to cover any property damage during your stay. This hold will be placed 48 hours before your arrival.

Stays of 89 Nights or Less. $2,500 credit card hold upon check-in.

Hold and Release Information.
  • The hold will be released within 2 days after check-out if no damages or unpaid charges are found.
  • Replacement holds will be made every 7 days until released 48 hours after departure. It may take 3-5 business days to reflect in your account after release.
  • Cash security deposits will be reimbursed within 7 days if no damages or unpaid charges are observed during the first inspection, typically within 72 hours of check-out.
3 To 6 Month Stay Length
A refundable credit card hold is required to cover any property damage during your stay. This hold will be placed 48 hours before your arrival.

Stays of 90 to 179 Nights: $5,000 credit card hold upon check-in.

Hold and Release Information:
  • The hold will be released within 2 days after check-out if no damages or unpaid charges are found.
  • Replacement holds will be made every 7 days until released 48 hours after departure. It may take 3-5 business days to reflect in your account after release.
  • Cash security deposits will be reimbursed within 7 days if no damages or unpaid charges are observed during the first inspection, typically within 72 hours of check-out.
6+ Month Stay Length
A cash security deposit equivalent to 1 month’s rent is required to cover any property damage during your stay.

Stays of 6 Months (180 Nights) or Longer. One month’s rent as a cash security deposit, payable via bank transfer.

Hold and Release Information.

Overall my stay was good. The positives: - great location - the Rove team was very responsive - the roof deck is massive and semi-private - the kitchen and apartment overall are well-stocked Needs work: - the apartment is super old, and some aspects of it need some upgrading - for example, I could not sleep in either of the front rooms because of how loud the street noise is. A rental charging $10k+ per month should install better windows and reseal them - also the apartment was not super clean. The carpets in the bedrooms hold a lot of dust and dirt - the kitchen area is super dark and a little depressing I did enjoy staying here, but I do fee like it was way overpriced.

I had a great stay at this property! Located in the heart of West Chelsea, the property is steps away from the Highline and galleries. Rove's service was excellent, with fast and helpful responses. The private roof terrace was my highlight, perfect for a gathering. The home's design was stylish and comfortable, and the separate dining and living areas were ideal for entertaining our guests. Highly recommend it for an enjoyable stay in West Chelsea!
