Cancellation Policy

Rove’s cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 48-Hour Grace Period: Reservations made at least 14 days before the check-in date are fully refundable if canceled within 48 hours of booking.
  • 60+ Days Before Check-In: Reservations canceled more than 60 days before check-in are eligible for a refund
  • 30-60 Days Before Check-In: Reservations canceled 30 to 60 days before check-in are eligible for a credit toward a future Rove booking within the next 12 months.
  • Less Than 30 Days Before Check-In: Reservations cannot be canceled within 30 days of the check-in date, and no refund or credit is available.
  • Note: All applicable payment processing fees are non-refundable for cancellations.

Security Deposit Policy

1 To 3 Month Stay Length
A refundable credit card hold is required to cover any property damage during your stay. This hold will be placed 48 hours before your arrival.

Stays of 89 Nights or Less. $2,500 credit card hold upon check-in.

Hold and Release Information.
  • The hold will be released within 2 days after check-out if no damages or unpaid charges are found.
  • Replacement holds will be made every 7 days until released 48 hours after departure. It may take 3-5 business days to reflect in your account after release.
  • Cash security deposits will be reimbursed within 7 days if no damages or unpaid charges are observed during the first inspection, typically within 72 hours of check-out.
3 To 6 Month Stay Length
A refundable credit card hold is required to cover any property damage during your stay. This hold will be placed 48 hours before your arrival.

Stays of 90 to 179 Nights: $5,000 credit card hold upon check-in.

Hold and Release Information:
  • The hold will be released within 2 days after check-out if no damages or unpaid charges are found.
  • Replacement holds will be made every 7 days until released 48 hours after departure. It may take 3-5 business days to reflect in your account after release.
  • Cash security deposits will be reimbursed within 7 days if no damages or unpaid charges are observed during the first inspection, typically within 72 hours of check-out.
6+ Month Stay Length
A cash security deposit equivalent to 1 month’s rent is required to cover any property damage during your stay.

Stays of 6 Months (180 Nights) or Longer. One month’s rent as a cash security deposit, payable via bank transfer.

Hold and Release Information.

Fantastic place in Brooklyn. Great location, lots of space and amenities, including a gorgeous backyard! Ash was helpful and responsive during our whole trip. Would stay again... and again... and again.

Ash is a fantastic host. Extremely available, accommodating, and generous. The house is gorgeous, incredibly spacious (even bigger than the pics) and well appointed, a dream sanctuary. The location can't be beat. This is a great spot.

We (two adults, one baby) stayed at Ash and Katja's place for 3 months and it was the perfect place for us to make home in NY. The apartment was clean, a really well stocked set of cooking equipment and spacious enough for us to comfortably live/work from. The house is really well set up with great TVs and Sonos throughout. The neighbourhood has some really nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and it was a 15 minute commute into Union Square on the L train. Ash and Katja were on hand throughout to make sure everything was working great, and were super responsive. Thanks so much!

Ash’s place is stunning - a special place in a great neighborhood. Walk to all the great restaurants and then very quiet and peaceful at night. Extremely comfortable for long term stays. Excellent communication!

Ash is by far the best host I’ve ever had. He is incredibly responsive, proactive, caring and present, even if he wasn’t able to be there himself to help out with any issues. The home is enormous and beautifully appointed, nestled in a lovely neighbourhood. Feels very rare, very special. Highly recommend any place Ash rents as he’s truly the best.

I had the pleasure of staying at Ash's Airbnb and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Ash is an incredible host - friendly, welcoming and always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations. The home itself is impeccable, meticulously maintained and with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, situated in a great neighborhood and just a short walk from the L train, which made getting around the city a breeze. The space itself was exactly as described, with plenty of room and all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Dealing with Ash was an absolute pleasure - communication was seamless and he went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area. Thanks again for the wonderful experience, Ash!
