“Had a great stay! House was nice and clean and honestly can’t say enough about the response time when I needed additional help. I would most definitely book this house again and others by Rove!”

“We had an amazing stay in Gary’s apartment. It’s in such a great location with many great bars and restaurants nearby (plus a great little coffee shop right downstairs which does great coffee and cakes). The nearest subway station is only about 5 minutes away which made it easy to get to wherever we needed. Gary was very helpful and gave lots of handy information. Highly recommended!”

“The house is beautiful, comfortable, and very clean , exactly like the pictures. The house itself is huge, the beds are great, and overall we had a very nice stay. That said, there were a few disappointing issues. The pool was neither clean nor heated, even though we had specifically requested and paid for the pool heating service. Unfortunately, they were never able to get it heated during our stay, which was a major disappointment for us. We also did not have hot water for one night, although they did try to resolve the issue the following morning. The fire pit was also unavailable for use. One small detail: the closets are not designed properly for hanging clothes, so that was a bit inconvenient. Other than those issues, everything else was really nice, and they did provide a refund for the inconvenience, which we appreciated.”

“We had a great stay overall! The home was gorgeous, accommodated our family well, and was in a nice area with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The hosts were responsive and did try to help when issues came up. While the hosts were communicative, some of the suggested solutions were a bit inconvenient during our stay. That said, we do think the hosts did their best, and overall we really enjoyed our time there. With a little more attention to detail when preparing the home for guests, this could easily be an even better experience.”

“Miranda and Matthew were truly the best hosts! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome with delicious breakfast foods and snacks waiting for us. The apartment was incredibly comfortable — the beds were especially so comfy, and the space was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The kitchen was amazing and such a pleasure to cook in, and we even got to use their pizza oven which was such a fun bonus. Every detail was thoughtful and made our stay perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

“Nicks place was great. We have stayed in NYC many times in the city, this was our first time in Brooklyn. Red Hook is a quiet distinct place with very friendly locals. The ferry to the city was the secret sauce- pretty great. Nicks place is large, updated and pretty dialed with every amenity. Building is very safe. Views of Manhattan skyline. Statue of Liberty views up the block on the water. Nick himself was a very attentive and helpful host. If you want close access to the crazy wonderful Manhattan experience but also come back and sleep in a very quiet serene setting, Nicks is the place. Loved it honestly felt like a second home.”

“Stayed here for a friends bachelorette. Ample room, good area that was easy to take cars to main locations, pool was nice to have during down times. Host was communicative and easy to access. Just an heads up that there are some fees for early check in and late check out.”
