“Miranda and Matthew were truly the best hosts! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome with delicious breakfast foods and snacks waiting for us. The apartment was incredibly comfortable — the beds were especially so comfy, and the space was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The kitchen was amazing and such a pleasure to cook in, and we even got to use their pizza oven which was such a fun bonus. Every detail was thoughtful and made our stay perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

“This is a lovely, spacious apartment in a great neighborhood with lovely Park views. We had a few maintenance issues and Rove’s team was very responsive and kept us in close communication. The only downside was the living room sofa which we recommend replacing. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. ”

“We had an amazing stay in Gary’s apartment. It’s in such a great location with many great bars and restaurants nearby (plus a great little coffee shop right downstairs which does great coffee and cakes). The nearest subway station is only about 5 minutes away which made it easy to get to wherever we needed. Gary was very helpful and gave lots of handy information. Highly recommended!”

We were hosting relatives visiting from abroad with their children, and this house turned out to be the perfect place for everyone to feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly at home. The space was spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared, exactly what you hope for after a long journey. The kids absolutely loved the backyard and pool area, and the adults appreciated how easy everything was, from check‑in to communication. Daniel was responsive, kind, and clearly takes pride in offering a great experience. It made our family’s time together smooth, joyful, and stress‑free. “Shatemuc was the perfect stay for my family's get together! Such a unique home - the perfect blend of modern comforts (heated bathroom floors) and vintage character. You can tell everything's been thoughtfully sourced and curated and the house is full of personality. My dad, an architect, spent the entire time marveling at the design and details. Incredible view of the Hudson River and Rondout Lighthouse. I could (and did) sit and watch the ships and trains passing along the river all day long. On top of all that Nick’s truly a great guy! “I have nothing but positive things to say about Lisa, her home, and the location. Lisa was always super responsive, and proactive. She was accommodating and so sweet and endearing. Her apartment is clean, bright, airy, spacious. So close to Central Park- numerous trains and busses so you can come and go as you please. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, are walking distance from the apartment. Fantastic local food, coffee shops, and smoothie/juice bars! As well as a planet fitness ( we signed up for the month for $15!) I would come back and stay with Lisa in a heartbeat!”
