While we experienced a couple of minor issues with the heat and the lack of hanging closet space in the bedrooms, the hosts were incredibly responsive and quick to resolve everything they could. We understood this was a new rental and appreciated how easy they were to work with. The home itself is beautiful, and everyone in our group absolutely loved it. We’d happily stay again.”

“We loved our stay. The place was perfect for two couples and two small children for 5 weeks. We felt very much at home. Location is great, so many fabulous places to eat and drink. Subway is few minutes walk, straight into Manhattan and Williamsburg. Two bedrooms are big and all the beds are very comfortable. Good hotel quality sheets and towels. Rove Travel were very responsive to any issues we had. Couldn’t fault their customer support. Would definitely stay again.”

“We stayed here for a girls’ trip over a long holiday weekend. The house was beautiful, spacious, and in a great location for everything we wanted to do, including wineries and a day trip to Montauk. We appreciated the modern finishes and overall layout. Unfortunately, there were a couple of significant issues. Within 30 minutes of arriving, several people in our group had allergic reactions to a cat. We noticed cat supplies and what appeared to be cat hair on furniture and blankets. Although the owner said the cat hadn’t been there in months, half of our group experienced allergy symptoms throughout the stay, which greatly impacted our experience. It also snowed during our visit, and we were only warned after snowfall began that the driveway could be slippery. When leaving, two of our three cars struggled to get up the driveway, and we nearly needed a tow truck. Prior notice would have been helpful. While we enjoyed our time together, we would not rebook.”

“The house was beautiful, and the host was extremely responsive. We really enjoyed our stay. The home has so much potential, though the secluded location can feel a bit scary at times. I would suggest clearing the trail as much as possible and adding clear signs…it would make a big difference. Other than the exterior, I would say the interior of the house is great. I would also suggest adding more cooking pots in the kitchen.”
