“Beautiful clean home in a secluded wooded environment. Close to town but feels peaceful and private. Contemporary and impressively well maintained. The outdoor was superalitve for a family with kids. Large heated pool, jungle gym, tennis, a basketball hoop and a big deck. Hosts were great. Phenomenally responsive and helpful. Couldn’t wish for more. Can’t wait to to return.”

“Dean house was fantastic! It is a whole house in the heart of Boerum Hill which is one of the nicest areas in Brooklyn. The house is immaculate, spacious and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. I especially liked the roof garden. Katia is an amazing host. Great communication and so helpful. The next time I’m in Brooklyn, I will definitely be staying at Dean House!”

The only downsides were the check-in process, which required us to go to an external website to sign some type of agreements , and the pool, which was a little messy when we arrived. “Beautiful home with amazing views. The location is great...close to restaurants and the beach. The pool, sauna and huge TV downstairs were a hit with my teenage boys. At one point there were 3 boys sitting in the hot tub and another 3 on floaties in the pool all watching a movie. The house definitely has a vacation vibe. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Dianell and Elvir for being great hosts.”

“Gorgeous house and view! Nick built the house himself and he did an incredible job. We especially loved sitting out on the deck and watching sailboats go by the lighthouse. One note regarding the bathrooms: as described in the listing, there are windows from the shower - downstairs the window looks into the main living area and upstairs, onto the deck. The windows did not fog up much. Not a problem for some groups traveling together, but people who require more privacy might find it uncomfortable. The floor to ceiling windows provide unparalleled views but do note that in summer months they can also create a bit of a greenhouse effect in the primary bedroom. This would be an incredible place to stay in fall, winter, or spring but be aware if you have a low tolerance for heat. Nick was very proactive in his communication and we loved meeting his dog Tashe, who befriended us while we were there. Overall a great stay and we would return!”

“I stayed at this property with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The house is absolutely stunning! It looks exactly as it does in the photos, with every single detail thought of (from excess towels down to the coffee options). Every amenity is available, making the stay feel super luxurious, and the house is in great condition. We hardly felt the need to leave! Blake was a fabulous host! He was responsive throughout our stay and made sure to help with whatever we needed. I would 100% recommend staying in this house with Blake as the host. A fantastic experience!”

“absolutely gorgeous space, both the house itself and the surroundings. the separate bedrooms (with their own bathrooms!) were excellent for a group, and so were the gathering areas, both inside and outside. everything was well prepared for our visit, the local recs were great, and we enjoyed it the whole time we were there.”
